If the noise only happens going over bumps in the road, and goes away when you have the brake applied, one thing I would suspect is wheel bearings starting to wear. The bump causes them to go slightly out of alignment, which moves the brake rotor ever so slightly in relation to the pads, and results in a slight squeal. It is likely not hurting anything, just wearing the brakes (ever so slightly...), but the bearings should be checked.
