My dad is 78 and a rode his motorcycle from MI to Alaska and back a few years ago. A local Ford dealer I know is 89 and still works hard every day. He owns his own plane (a hot retractible no less) and flys on instruments which is very difficult for anyone. His instructor told me he's sharp as a tack at it. Doing difficult stuff like that actually helps you stay sharp. When the day comes you'll know. I'd do what you can as long as you can.
