Sometimes people in the country where cars are built view them a lot differently than people do in countries where they're imported. I know MB's are popular as taxis and I've heard Jaguar sedans are looked at like we do Cadillacs and Lincolns here (ie. not exactly driven by cutting edge type folks). Are Saabs sort of the equivolent of a Chevy or Pontiac here (I assume there's a lot of them around)? We view them as foreign and exotic (or would esoteric be the word?). I once heard 9000's were considered big heavy gas guzzlers in Europe--don't know how true it is. I can't say I recall anyone from Sweden posting here.
