9000's as "gas guzzlers"? HUH? Where does this stuff come from? 100% Urban Myth.
BTW...there actually are Swedes who post here...sometimes as "duals" ie Americans and other times as Swedes...many US "Swedes" still have relatives in Sweden...who post on this board.
There are Danes who provide insight to the BB...
I remember an Islander posting...Norwegians, Finns,
My Swedish friends drive SAAB... it is not looked at so much as "materialistic" but as function...Most of the time, however, they ride the bus or train to a destination...but they use the SAAB for a daily driver....from C900's to 9000's to 9-5's over the years...
SAAB and VOLVO (in equal amounts) cars made up the Stockholm Police force's "cruisers"...
Interestingly enough, many of the Swedes I've met over the years like the Chevrolet as an "exotic" car...
Recalling the humorous poem:
"10 thousand Swedes ran thru the weeds at the battle of Copenhagen.....10 thousand Swedes ran back thru the weeds...chased by ONE Norwegian..." :-)
This will certainly draw out the Swedes you haven't seen post previously...
