I don't have any additional info. My dad restored a totally rust free '57 Chevy pickup with a 6 stick--about as simple a vehicle as you can get. It turned out really nice and won best of show everywhere he took it. He traded it even up for a brand new Cadillac (about $50K) recently but didn't seem all that happy. He's never said what it cost him but I suspect it was more than he got out of it. Moral of the story is that it's probably a lot cheaper to buy a nice one than restore one. While you might be able to save money doing some work yourself (and he did), if you want truly professional results you pretty much have to pay professionals for almost everything.
