Yes, you got a killer deal on a 5 year old car. Prbably a good car too since the maintenence was paid for for the first 3 years.
However, it is not accruate to compare a new car at sticker verses a 5 year old car at selling cost. Discounts in the thousands have been noramal now some of the discounts are in the 10's of thousands. For example a couple months ago new loaded 2008 Aero convertibles were going for $33,000 at the dealership near me... Sedans a lot less. That is a killer deal for a car w/ a 100,000 mile bumper to bumber warranty!
Nobody pays sticker... SAAB have a lot of margin built in unlike many manufacturers. With a new car you get free service too so that should be factored in along with the lower interst rate if you finanace.
That said, I think CPO cars are a great way to go... Unfortuantely, they aren't doing CPO on many "newer" used cars like 07 and 08's.
