This would be a regular account. I don't believe there are enough capital gains (short or long) to offset the loss.
I think I might get rid of my financial adviser. He does not think this is a good idea, but has not given a real reason of why not.

Why don't more people do this, or how come you don't hear about this strategy on the news/talking head shows/etc.
