I am Jealous!!!! I have wanted a Metralla since 1965 when I saw my first one in Joe Bolger's shop in MA.
I know the brazing is low temp. I am not an expert, but when we restored by 1973 Porsche 911 we found some brazing in the rear fender and other spots that was badly done. We redid them with a wire feel welder. The heat of the wire feed pretty much got rid of the brazing....we hand wire brushed it as we went along and just used wire feed. then shaped all the metal smooth.
Good luck....post pictures when done.
