The NYSOC & VSCNA Winery Tour 2009

Saturday October 17th, 2009

Information below copied from: http://nysoc.com/events/winery09/index.php
Signup form on above URL.

This year, the winery tour will be taking place in Orange and Ulster County, NY. For the first time, the Winery Tour will be a joint NYSOC and VSCNA event which assures a nice mix of Saabs, both old and new. As usual, this event is open to all car makes.

We will begin the day at Bruce Turk's house in Walden, NY. Please arrive between 10:00AM and 11:00AM. There is a mandatory driver's meeting at 11:15AM. If you miss the meeting, you will not be allowed to drive with us! We will depart Bruce's house promptly at 11:30AM.

Our first winery stop will be Adair Vineyards. This will also serve as our lunch stop. While Adair does have picnic tables, they don't really sell food. Please come with a picnic lunch.

After lunch, we will head inside the winery for a tasting. After Adair, we will then drive to Baldwin Vineyards, and then Whitecliff Vineyard, for tastings. Wine tastings generally cost around $5 which will be collected by each winery. If you come to our event, you are not obligated to have a tasting at any winery.

Before returning to Bruce's house, we will make short stops at both Tantillo's Farm Market and Wright's Farm Market. Upon our return to Bruce's house after the final winery, light refreshments such as coffee and cake will be served.

Total driving time for the tour is approximately 1 hour, 30 minutes. However, time spent at each winery could range from 20-45 minutes a piece. Please let us know you're coming by filling in the form below, and contact Rob Riccardelli with any questions. Thanks.
