Just be aware that nearly all of the national chian restaurants are all located on the north side of town. My business trips were always to the south side of town and it only took me one trip to learn that I didn't want a hotel room on the south side. Nothing wrong other than no where to eat after work - other than Mickey-D's or a Subway located in a gas station.
Dayton seems to be the biggest bottleneck on I-75 anywhere in the state of Ohio. The freeway has lots of lanes, but one bad 45mph turn that really backs things up.
Dayton appears to be just your standard midwestern medium sized city.
