I am currently living in Springboro, OH which is considered a south burb of Dayton and a north burb of Cincinnati. Have lived here for 11 years and am quite happy with the community as a whole. Cost of living is lower than most areas and living close to Cincinnati is a big plus.
Good restaurants are plentiful all over town. Great shopping at the Greene, Dayton Mall area, and the new Cincinnati Outlet Mall nearby.
Economy is hurting with the job losses at Delphi, GM Moraine Assembly closing and NCR leaving for Georgia.
Just Saab is a great dealer and Austin Imports is a great indy for your SAABing needs.
All in all a pretty decent area to live as long as you locate in the right area.
For comparison, I've lived in the following areas: Cleveland OH, Akron, OH, Columbus, OH, Scarsdale, NY, and Toronto, Ontario Canada and this is probably the 2nd best of those areas in my opinion.
