Don't know for a fact, but I do know that E-spec Mercedes and BMWs have the front and rear fogs integrated into one circuit. May be the case with US-spec vehicles as well. As many have already stated in this thread, I really don't think most people are aware that they have a rear fog light, and I also find it annoying as hell to have to suffer "light soak" when you're stuck behind these types in traffic.
