Sounds like they have a valid reason to appeal Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Tue, 24 Nov 2009 04:00:59 In Reply to: Matthews Saab, Binghamton, NY - Axed, DER, Mon, 23 Nov 2009 11:12:48 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Based on the reports of appeals following the earlier GM and Chrysler Dealership reduction actions, recent buyers of small franchises were reported as being successful in retaining their Dealership agreements. You wrote they are a larger operation which bought a small stand-alone Saab Dealership right before the worst economic downturn in 75 years. The current owners shouldn't be rated on the performance of the previous ownership. Their current size and overall sales performance for all brands should be used as an indicator of their potential with Saab, after the economy strengthens a little more.
