Well Home depot took back the wrong blade(8-8.25) they said was the right blade, even a back yard mechanic knows a round peg will not fit a square hole, unless the square is bigger than the circumfernce of the circle, and they will buy back the 2 lenghs of chair rail that were ruined. I found the right 8.25 at ace hardware, installed it and the job came out beautifully just in time for thanksgiving, not bad for having less than 2 days to do it and working a reqular job. If I started with a hand mitre I could have finished with a hand mitre, but since I started with a machine one and had so many different cuts to make I wanted to go modern. The 8 inch blade cut fine straight but not quite all the way through when on 45 degrees. Even with the piece behind the piece being cut I didn't think it was the most save way to use an electrical cutting device, and making the correction with the hand saw after the electrical one left an error the corners were not butting up perfect. So thank for all your imputs, just got to check if I got any responces to my ranting today.
