Time to buy new?? Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Tue, 29 Dec 2009 10:27:38 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I got an e-mail this morning telling me I qualify for an $11,000 discount on any new 2009 SAAB. Right now everyone can get Employee Pricing, so this eleven grand can be deducted off the already discounted Employee Price!
My 9-5 will turn 10 years old in another month and has provided me with 263,000 nearly trouble free miles of ownership. I was planning to hold it another three years before selling it and buying a new model. I love the lines of the 2010/2011 9-5 SC. But now this offer........
In addition, the Local Dealer is saying I can buy any in stock 9-5 or 9-7X with 0% interest for 72 months. There might be some fine print I haven't seen yet. I will be at the Dealer tomorrow for a warranty repair on my wife's 9-3SC (mirror heater - pretty minor after 42 months of ownership) so I will definitely be asking lots of questions.
Oh yeah. At least two grand of this $11K discount expires Monday, maybe more than that! Assuming GM finally decides to release SAAB, I would rather have my money go to SAAB's new owner, but would be forfeiting a huge savings if I wait. Pressure, pressure, pressure.......
