Have driven 2 Olds models that I liked

The Intrigue, which I rented in Chicago, drove to Buffalo, then home to NH. Another Intrigue took me from NYC to Ottawa and back to NH. I liked the second one a lot. It had almost enough go-power, the seats were comfy for a long run and it was stable and relaxed at high speeds, as in 100+ on a few empty stretches of Rte 17 in NY and on the Trans-Canada. Actually thought about buying one until I found that back seat passengers would die in an accident. It was NOT the same as other GM products on the same platform.
The other was the first gen Aurora. Not sporty at all, but comfy and had good steering, although it needed stiffer shocks and better tires.
Pontiacs are another matter. The only one I've driven and really liked is the G8, although the G6 isn't bad for what it is. Just needs more poke.
