I get the Saab part (obviously).
I also like Logitech mice (never could stand MS mice).
HP printers were the best until about 1995, but since then seem to have mostly become junk, at least for personal use (I've wasted some $$ there). Currently, Samsung laser printers are outstanding, imho. Epson inkjets were probably the best of those for a while, but I haven't bought one for a while.
Dell computers. The positive I see is they offer good support (especially for institutions) + good price. Dell is also a very well run business. That said, I never got why people associate Dell with quality. Dells seem to be somewhat more problematic than the average (I've used lots of Dells + lots of computers in general)... and like most "name brand" pc's, are full of built in brand-specific stuff + tend to lack flexibility. They are not meant to be upgraded + when you open them up, the guts are often not great. So for me, a custom built PC (with quality hand picked components) wins hands down... though that level of involvement is not for everyone! This laptop: Toshiba. Been good.
wrt the Unicomp keyboards: I have a bunch of them + they are good! My favorite though, a mid 1990's IBM design that was a little smaller + nice shape + still beefy + indestructible... ps2 but you can convert. I get them for $5 from local computer recycler! ha!
