The potential buyer provided a name and telephone number for a gentleman in Massachusetts that he bought a 1965 Chevy convertible from last summer. I called the guy and everything checks out perfectly. I did some research for the phone number and it's actually tied to a body shop in Salem, MA and the gentleman I spoke with is listed as the business owner. After speaking with the reference provided, researching the potential buyer's eBay information/history, and double-checking everything he has said and provided, I feel quite confident that the offer is legitimate. Now, for any experienced international buyers out there, what is the best, most efficient, and most cost-effective means of transferring the funds? Any information regarding security, fees, etc. would also be greatly appreciated. Crazy to think that my Sonett may be headed back to the Saab homeland. Drive safely and KEEP ON SAABING!!!
