Maybe the thing to do is a 'Flip This House' or 'Wheeler Dealers' strategy.

Instead of holding onto potential 'classics' that may or may nor pan out over time in a fickle market -- buy used cars that have some wear and tear but appear to be in decent working order. Fix them up and then sell them for a small profit.

Save up and put the money you make towards a nice classic car for yourself to drive. Or a new model 9-5 if you make enough over time!
