Had to Give Up My 9-5 Aero

I am sorry to say that I made a decision to turn in my leased 2008 Saab 9-5 Aero early (there was no prepayment penalty or deposition charge). This was based purely on economic considerations. I was about 5K miles over my lease, and if I had to wait for the new 9-5 it would be going higher.
Also, I read the Winding Road review this week, that the MSRP was starting at $49,000 and as tested at $55,000 (xdrive, V6 Aero), which would have put it way outside of my $600/mo budget for the lease.
So I looked around this week, and of all cars, Mercedes offered me a C300, fully loaded AWD, NAV, Premium Pkg., multimedia, for $0. down, $600/mo, all service for the 15K 39 mo lease, and $1800 cash back to pay out my Saab lease. I will say right out that I like the Saab 9-5 Aero handling and performance much better, but the Merc amenities are very nice, the car looks good, and fit and finish is great as well.
So, it is with sadness that I have left Saab (I think I've had at least 11 since my first 1972 99). But I will return, maybe ending the lease early. I do like the new 9-5. My best wishes to you all for the great advice and entertainment.
