I have an old Weller WCS50 (now replaced by the WCS51) that saw a lot of use at work, then was tossed when we upgraded to much better digital temp-controlled units - it still works. This one is probably overkill for your use, the one recommended by turbocon86 is half the price.
Whatever iron you wind up buying, get one with temperature control! Start low and dial up the temp to suit your needs. An over-hot iron will burn up the foil traces on a printed circuit board in an instant - been there, done that - which can turn a simple repair into a much bigger issue. For your repair work, buy some electronics solder (rosin core), which is different from plumbing solder (acid core). You can uses CRC Electronics Cleaner to remove the excess rosin flux when you are done.
Note that different soldering irons are used for different purposes. I also do some leaded glass repair and have a much more powerful iron for that.
