The NHTSA and IIHS tests are similar but are staged tests, not real world. The Swedish agency Folksam uses tests and real-world data to do their analysis and the results are often different. I used to have a PDF of Folksam data that had a lot of Saab info in it but can't find it. It really showed how Saabs and Volvos, plus a couple other Euros, are really safer in general.
The real moose test, BTW, which involves an impact with the critter, is different than some other so-called "moose tests" which are more accident avoidance.
Me, I often drive where moose live, and want a little more strength in the A-pillars and front roof. Those big bog cows can't always be avoided.
