They're a very cool looking car but in terms of how they drive maybe not so good. Most of them were made in the '70s which was an awful time for cars. After '70 cars lost quite a bit of horsepower, after '73 they just plain ran awful. Unfortunately the 1800ES falls right in that year range. That said, a lot of cars from that era have been modiflied to run decently, but even then compared to your C900, you're going to find it pretty pokey. The plateform for the car dated back to the pre-'68 122 so it was '50s technology. I had a '66 wagon and found it to be a very charming car (in 1973) so maybe you might like it--but drive before you buy.
