Keep the entire floor at the same level; you don't have to tile completely under the cabinets, could probably put some plywood down under where the cabinets will be.
I ran into this problem in a previous house where someone installed thick Mexican quarry tile and cement backer board in the exposed area only (not under the existing cabinets). The dishwasher eventually died and I had a MAJOR problem swapping it out because of the height difference - had to remove the countertop to do so.
