and the choice seems limited with Macs - though the interior designers I work for seem to like VectorWorks, though not enough to do decent drawings with it, sadly. There's apparently going to be AutoCAD back on the Mac platform soon - I actually use a South African program called AllyCAD but AutoCAD has a vast chunk of the market, should do well for them.
The second reason I like PCs is that I build them up and change them around for fun, or to fix them. Have just built up a media PC in a Hoojum Cubit 5 case that's been sitting around for three or four years. Don't think I'd take the lid off a Mac for some reason. It's like when they started putting plastic covers over car engines - the style removes the connection with the machinery somewhat.
Third reason to like PCs - Windows 7. It really does work, and I'm very glad I junked an expensive OEM copy of Vista Ultimate in its favour. Even my wife is in favour of Windows 7 and she makes the Luddites look like dangerous progressives.
