It's doable. I have worked in the financial industry for 30 years and it's going to be tricky but I think they have a real shot. First, they have a fully funded 3 year business plan. The pipeline of vehicles looks to be marketable. Most of us are US centric but Saab will probably get more bang for the buck in the beginning of it's new life right in Europe. In the US they need to get inventory to the dealerships and then start the marketing campaign and get bodies back in to test drive the new Saabs. I can tell you my 2010 9-5 Aero gets a lot of attention and i am asked constantly about it. People who don't visit boards like this still think Saab died, or isn't for sale in the US anymore. The old line that most people who test drive a Saab usually buys one still applies.
Finally and most important, they may be timing the cycle just right. There is pent up demand for cars, whether they can get their fair share will be up to the execution. The one hitch is the weakening dollar, God knows where that will end up.
