and I think the team they have assembled knows what they are doing. I put my money where my mouth is by buying a new 2010 9-5 Aero 5 weeks ago. My 5th and best Saab yet. They certainly have a challenge ahead of them but I think there are a couple of things that may help them survive. The new products in the pipeline look very marketable. I am sure they are focused on Europe right now and trying to get the inventory in place here in the States. Once they have some product to sell I would expect a clever marketing campaign to wake up the public that Saab is back and has product that's worth looking at. They may have hit the cycle at the right time as well, there is pent up demand out there and if we see some type of recovery over the next year or so that would be very helpful. One of the unknowns is the US Dollar, the weaker it get's the tougher it is for importers.
With senior management's strategy of strategic alliances, it really helps the likelihood of survival. It's all about execution.
Enjoy your new car.
