probably more likely a software problem with the Dell diagnostics than with your processor... maybe I'm a cynic though... unless you've noticed performance problems, I wouldn't worry about it. if the chip is bad + your warranty is out, and you are experiencing sufficient issues to justify replacement, but do not want to buy a whole new machine, the processors are readily available inexpensively on the used market... I don't know what range of chips your board will support, but you could probably upgrade the chip performance in the process...
