This was far from the only reason I didn't buy one. Maybe it was also the fact that the dealers that sold them could care less about them, which also had me worried about ongoing support from that dealer. They also had zero interest in trying to sell me one, also being a dominated Audi dealership, I was also concerned about maintenance.
After checking it out, maybe I also wasn't prepared to spend that kind of money on the 9-5 as I don't believe it was worth it (at this time). I hope to be back in time after things brighten up for SAAB and a new lineup arrives that has lost GM DNA. I wanted something larger than a 9-3, yet I did not want a SUV or Hybrid.
What it does come down to is the fact that I'm more than happy about my purchase, I love driving it, it's warrantied until 10/2014 or 100k miles including all maintenance, the dealership was top notch and it cost me less than half of what a new 9-5 would've.
*I* feel good about my purchase and frankly, that's all that matters.
