I signed for t-mobile and the $100/100min program for myself and wife. That is good for one year of service. If you renew at any level, you get another year plus minutes. Wife is on second year and still has 800 min left. She can renew again for another $10 and get a third year of service. So, she will have 3yrs of cell service for a total of $120.
I switched from Tracfone to T-mobile as I felt it was a better deal. I went 1.5yrs for $110. I travel more than my wife, and found out that sending pictures and text add up quickly.
My 14yo son is in the 2nd year using a Verizon Samsung phone with all the bells and whistles. The price of the phone was a birthday present. We were able to negotiate the $80/mo fee to $50, and he has to pay it. $600 per year! The cost of status....
