I just bought a brand new 2010 9-3 last November. Here's my beef with SAAB at this moment. They aren't DOING ANYTHING to make me feel confident that they have a plan for me IF something bad happens. Why would I go buy an excellent 9-4X when SAABUSA won't tell me who will honor and back my current warranty and provide parts if they go under for awhile. It's a Spyker car (build date of July 2010) so GM won't save me.

If SAAB would start reassuring current loyal customers (has a 01 as well), I might be more inclined to recommend the "steal" that is the base 9-5 to my friends that blindly lease A4's and 3 series.

What happens to the people that lease a SAAB right now? I hope ALLY doesn't contractually REQUIRE service and repairs be done to their cars. We can't get any confirmation that warranty service and parts will even be available. If SAAB won't pay suppliers, why would supplier make SAAB parts?

It's those day-to-day basics that SAAB is failing at from a customer POV, in my opinion.

So, I supported them when they went "independent" - but now what?
