Wow! Thats a lotta people on the move, huh? Thankfully your leg of that journey was a safe one.
Migration? According to a report issued by the U.S. News in Dec. 2010 your observations are correct. Four western states led the nation in population growth.
I too am old school and prefer the charts and stars for my navigational instruments on road trips. Based on your experience with the GPS unit it re-enforces what my wife tells me each time I poke fun at her for her dependency on this device, "Some day you'll really need it."
Well, today I'm gonna take it outta that little box in the rear of my 900 and prep it for my trip next week. She'll be very proud and actually believe I listened to her!
Thanks for sharing your observations.
BTW. Nascar ain't so bad.. That "88" car is coming along this year! lol
