They march to a different drummer. In general you will find Bose drivers to be small in size as that has always been one of their hallmark design features.
Power handling capacity is nearly useless as you can connect a rock with infinite power capacity to your stereo outputs and get no sound. Sound pressure output per watt of inlet power may be more useful. An owner of a high power amp would not necessarily need high efficiency, where as the owner of a modestly powered amp would want/need high efficiency drivers.
The size, layout, and furnishings of your main listening room, coupled with personal tastes in music style and personal likes of reproduced sound are more important than published specs. The last time I went speaker shopping I found Klipsch speakers to be overly dominant with high frequencies when listening to them in the show room, yet they may sound absolutely great in a room full of padded furniture that tends to absorb such frequencies
