With directional tires, there really isn't any rotating going on. You move the rears to the front and fronts to the rear. I can't see having them dismounted and remounted side for side in addition to front/rear swap, as this would cost somewhere in the neighborhood of 50-70$. Anyone actually do this ? I just put a set of four Kuhmo's on my 9-5 wagon, purchase was roughly 400$ and installation another 80$ or so. That's almost the cost of one new tire.
