This past weekend I took the 8.5 hour trek to pick up the new 71 95 wagon. Man is that thing sweet!!! I had never driven one before and couldnt wipe the smile off my face. It drives great and will shine once its all spruced up. I ended up pulling it with my Gary Fisher wagon which worked like a charm. Around 600 miles, 70mph average and got around 20.4 mpg. I told Uhaul I was towing a 90' Jetta becasue the 71' isnt in their system and I knew the jetta weighed a few hundred more so I would be safe. The self-leveling suspension was still doing its job even after 208k. I couldnt have been happier with the way the car towed and wish I had tried earlier!
