GM didn't want to survive in the first place and only sold it when they figured they could make a fast buck and sell it to someone who didn't have a change (Spyker). That's why they destroyed all the other potential deals. Now they see that it might survive and they want to again sour the deal.
They have little to stand on... you can't restrict someone's right to earn a profit, lacking some specific contractual obligation in the Saab agreement like "we won't sell cars in China". I would have thought Youngman would have reviewed the contracts for that kind of limitation before coming to an agreement.
GM should try building cars people want instead of trying to sue their way to success.
