So apparently bikes aren't allowed in the park? It was clearly posted with a sign that said it was a $500 fine? Sounds like your bad. I've been an avid bike rider for years but do understand that there are places bikes aren't allowed, usually for a good reason. So I don't ride there and I don't get tickets--seems simple enough.
