I thought this might a good one for the Saabnet brain trust. We currently have a '10 Ford F250 stripper (standard cab, vinyl seat, roll up windows) pickup setup with a snow plow. I also use it to run errands. We've only put about 3,000 miles on it in a year. It really sucks gas and is pretty miserable to drive. Sometimes the owners drive it and sometime guests, so we need something more civilized that gets better MPG. At present we're still thinking something that can handle a plow and pull a trailer. It doesn't have to be a pickup since we have an open trailer. I actually thought something like a Wrangler might work--it seems like I've seen them with snow plows. I'm guessing some kind of sport-ute might work--obviously it would have to have a full frame etc. We have about three hundred yards of driveway to plow. Another possibility would be some sort of dedicated plow/tractor which would open up the vehicle choice. There seem to be a lot of these type of vehicles out there of late. We have a small 4x4 diesel tractor but I'm not sure it's big enough, plus no cab or heat. There will be bonus points for Ford product suggestions since they get big discounts on Ford/ Lincolns.
