How about a 9000 for both? If you ask the 9000 fans on this site, it can do anything ;-).
While I don't really know anything about plow vehicles, I understand the plow is murder on the front suspension. Also with the crop of cross over vehicles, such as the new Explorer, I have no idea how they would hold up. Obviously a F150 is smaller than a F250, but still large.
My father-in-law once had a plow for his tractor and he said it didn't really work plowing the driveway as he couldn't get good traction on the driveway. especially if there was any ice (theirs is about 150 feet) so now he does it with a walk behind snow thrower with the cab.
As pointed out there is the option of the tractor based snow thrower, and then a "funner" summer car type as the guest/employer/errand car, (as the Saab's have very decent tops, seats 4, with snows, a good argument could be made for it as a year round car).
I've seen a number of Wrangler based plow vehicles... what they seem to give up in weight/power they seem to make up for in maneuverability. But for the summer car which it could be, the ride might be a bit firm.
