Congratulations on your new Saab! I wish we could do the same and pick up a new Saab or two ourselves.
Re: your vibration and the mention of tires, I find that our tires get a little "wonky" / flat spots if we don't drive the old Saabs in the garage often enough.
What helps for us is to always check the tire pressure and we inflate the tires (cold) to the maximum pressure listed on the sidewalls. I know others may not approve of that but we do it without issue and prefer the firmer ride and handling.
After a bit of driving the vibration goes away. I hope your issue is as simple to address.
Also re OnStar, it disappointed us as well, though we had to laugh that for the years we had it active, OnStar kept insisting we were driving a purple Cadillac when we pushed the button and they confirmed who we were.
Hmm, it was a silver Viggen, but Purple Cadillac is good for a laugh, unless we are in an accident and they send out an emergency crew looking for a Caddy.
If nothing else we would recommend you setup the OnStar bluetooth interface with your mobile phones.
The hands free calling through the Saab and OnStar system is quite nice and uses the cellphone you already own, assuming your cellphone has bluetooth capabilities.
Enjoy your new Saab and keep it shiny side up!
Steve
