An old lady goes to the gas station manager, and complains:"Why are you price gauging? Why can't you sell gas at the same price as the gas station across street?"

Manager:"Why don't you gas up across street then?"

Lady:"They are out of gas."

Manager:"I too can post that low price when I'm out of gas."

When I was looking for a used convertible in 2010, there was one dealer on Boston CL with numerous Saab convertible postings (location variously as Whitman, Quincy, Braintree, etc.) Every time I called, the car was "sold" and then I was offered some VW convertible. Then the same picture of the Saab convertible was posted again the following days. It went on for weeks.

Then I made an appointment to see a private seller. The address didn't exist. Then instead of letting "him" coming to my home, I told him to meet me at my bank's parking lot (full of security cameras) and I'd pay cash if it passes my inspection on the spot . . . but but I need to see a picture first seeing that he had given me a fake address previously. Lo and behold, several NG900 pictures arrived for what is supposed to be the owner's own OG9-3. Not sure if that's just some sicko keen on wasting people's time or phishing for home addresses for fraud. I always use throw-away email addresses when shopping.
