Hello,
I have a 3 year old Kenmore Elite fridge, french doors with bottom freezer. Woke up today and looked in the freezer and saw frost on left side by ice maker and on the back and on the freezer light, contents are starting to get some frost. I called an Appliance guy and he said we must have left the doors open or something (which I find surprising since there is a "door open" alarm" that works), but anyways, he said to defrost it by unplugging and let it sit like that for 24 hours and then it should be fine.
Any other advice? We have a ton of stuff in there and I don't want to let it go for 24 hours.
