but the way to do this is to find out who the parts suppliers are and find out what it would take to get them to partner with a group of Saab owners, parts resellers, and repair shops to make the parts.

It would be a relatively new type of cooperative deal that could work if there was enough money on the table. But it would probably have to be at least $10 million in cash on the table to even get the conversation started. Probably much more. And it would be spread over a lot of parts players.

Some parts suppliers have the tooling and specs to make parts, others do not. So existing suppliers would be the ones to go to. But this it big dollars. But if Saab parts doesn't come online it could be one way to get the pipeline moving.

OTOH, parts will come back in 6 months to a year. There is demand and it will be filled. Nature (and business) hates a vacuum.
