I could not convince my wife on a NG 9-5, so we purchased a new 2011 S60 T6 about three weeks ago. We have about 800 miles on it thus far. FWIW, consumer reports is recommending them and reliability seems well above average.

I would recommend they call VCNA to see what warranty the car would be under. Sometimes it is different if it was a lease or a private purchase. Also, if it was a rental I don't know how that changes the safe and secure warranty through Volvo.

We love ours except it does NOT come with a spare tire like many new cars. You can purchase a spare but there is no hidden location for it. You must just keep it in the trunk which takes a lot of cargo space.

All the auto magazines have also tested the s60 T5 with high reviews.
