I depressed the schrader valve on the fuel rail and seem to be getting fuel. The tach does not move at all when cranking which makes me think it is a Crank Sensor issue. So, the imobilizer on the Mercedes would prevent it from cranking? I guess I assumed it just cut off the spark like on the 9-5. I read some posts about pcb and relay issues. Hats off to Scott, SAABnet is a far better set up for posting and searching old posts etc than other car forums. I am spoiled. MB forums threads tend to end with advice to take it to the dealer or I took it to the Dealer. When their is any final conclusion at all. Most thread end with a cliffhanger of the final fix. I suspect that may have to do partially with Mercedes owners may not be the DIY kind of folks either.
