Wonder what kind of shipping they use? Some vendors are using a type of shipping that seems to be considerably slower than the ones used previously. For example, while Eeuroparts has reduced their threshold for free shipping on U.S. orders to $49.99 they are now using something called "FedEx SmartPost" which presumably is cheaper than the previously-used FedEx Ground.
The practical consequence is that it takes considerably longer. Previously when I would place an order with Eeuroparts it would normally ship the same day and be delivered on the next business day. This has now changed. My most recent order was placed on July 27th. It shipped on July 30th and according to tracking has just hit the local post office for final delivery. (I've actually received orders placed overseas faster than this, but to be fair had to pay for shipping charges.)
Can't complain too much since it is free shipping, and I'm not posting this to bash Eeuroparts but just to make others aware - if you needs parts in a hurry and the vendor is using SmartPost as their free shipping provider you may want to pay for faster delivery.
