Still a lot of money.

But then I paid $105 for an hour of labor at the local Dealership last week to have a NOS radio installed in the son's GrandAm. The anti-theft features in the GM/Delco Monsoon head unit require a Tech-II device to divorce/marry the radio to the car just like our SAABs.

Eventually the labor cost of quick jobs which could be D-I-Y'ed will exceed the cost of the device. Assuming these aftermarket devices are any good.
