You are adding oxygen to the equation and the O2 sensor and engine management should increase/adapt the fuel delivery. There are bounds to what it can do and what it wants to do before it declares the adaption out of bounds.
If you could increase the fuel pressure, not enough to CEL on adaption the other way, then the system might be able to further adapt the other way before an adaption limit fault.
Some increase fuel pressure by partly crushing the FPR to get more internal spring pressure. If you could apply air pressure to the FPR, that would allow a dynamic pressure increase. Maybe using NOX pressure and a choke in the vacuum port which would become an additional NOX port. You could put a pressure regulator on the NOX line to the FPR for some control and perhaps NOX flow limiting to that VAC line.
The adaption slew rate may not be able follow sudden changes.
The fuel pump should not be tired out pump that will fail to deliver fuel at increased pressures.
So that is all theory and wishful thinking, see what you can make of that.
