Whew, close one! That is scary.

I live in a major city and both bike and drive. There are a lot of idiots both behind the wheel and handlebars here, but one of the things I find utterly stunning is the number of people that ride at night with no lights. It seems to be people of all backgrounds who do this. How can your life not be worth a $10 set of blinking lights? I'm not sure if people are just so caught up in their own world these days that they don't even think about it or what, but it really is scary, both for their sake and for the driver that might end up hitting them and the consequences he/she could suffer.
