Many light trucks use P sized tires which are intended for passenger vehicles and commonly have 35psig pressure requirements. Once you get into 3/4 ton or One ton trucks you start to encounter LT sized tires which operate at much higher pressures.
Nothing to stop an individual from replacing the expensive LT tires with less expensive P tires if a vehicle isn't used to carry heavy loads, so be sure to check the sidewalls before adding any more air!
You may discover the rear tires are different from the front tires too, even if an identical wheel and cross-section size.
